Siji Kuruvilla

Siji Kuruvilla graduated from university in 1997. He had worked as a lecturer at Rajiv Gandhi Medical University in Karnataka, India, for four years. Siji taught biomechanics, neurology, and orthopedics both academics and clinicals to undergraduate physical therapy students. He also worked as the official physical therapist for the MS Society (Multiple Sclerosis) and SOPRAMID (Society of Primary Immunoglobulin Deficiency Children) in Bangalore.

Siji started the first in-house physical therapy service for the elderly in Bangalore at Abhayashrama Old Age Home, Bangalore, and outpatient physical therapy department in Lokhandes Hospital, Bangalore .

After moving to Canada in 2002, he worked in Yorkton SK, Nanaimo BC, Red Deer, and Edmonton AB as physical therapist in Hospitals and private clinics.

In 2006 he ventured into clinic ownership by starting the first private physical therapy clinic in Cold Lake, AB, and acquiring University Physical Therapy Clinic in Edmonton. In 2010 he acquired Wetaskiwin Physical Therapy

Developed Biomechanical Taping Techniques for joint stabilization, joint support and treating joint derangement syndromes in physical therapy treatment.

Developed and trade marked Myo-Neural Techniques in Physical Therapy Treatments.
